A or B, i switched so many times, i almost ripped the answer sheet

D also, irresistible urge

I put B for #34 and C for #35...watch, I bet both are wrong...

yea agree wth jrcho88 on 34 and 35, that's what i put... then again the compulsion to speed up didnt really fit into those categories real well, but i guess urge and compulsion are simlar..

Do you have the question in the psychic passage about the vocab in context? I think it's the 1st or 2nd question in that set.

so which one is it, and why is it more transformative than dramatic, or is dramatic an overstatement??

please excuse any typos im trying to type as fast as i can

I have a feeling that I BOMBED this test...Even worse than last year's, probably...

For jrcho88's questions that were posted, I got:

34 B)Transformative

35 D) irresistable urge

38 B) uncertainty of social encounters

(BTW, thanks jrcho88 for posting!!)

I agree with those answers above. But we need more confirmation.

well, he basically says that he feels like a new man during AND after the trip when he arrives, meaning transformative..

for #37, I put E; for #39, I put A

billyum

The word curious in line 50 conveys a sense of
A) mild disappointment
B) sarcastic disbelief
C) slight impatience
D) interest
E) bafflement

my answer is B

I agree with all but 37 so far. I'm not sure about 37.

jrcho: no, that's not the right one. it might be a different passage.. hmm. it's something about how scholars change the way the act as historians. i think it's the african american passage. srry about that.

hey jrcho88, what's the 2nd to last question on section 3? and does anyone know what answer they chose?

I wasn't sure about the "no one" question; I put start a new life, but I'm probably wrong. Do you have all the questions, that's awesome!!!

dolce

E) surprising reaction to a social situation

-1 so far...not as bad as i thought

how many can you miss and still make above a 200?

Yea alexmartin........ I have the whole booklet because I'm in Canada and I guess the school's test admins had no idea what to do about it. (well to be exact, I wrote in a different school and they collected all of the booklets assigned to all of their own students, but they specifically told me to keep it, for whatever reason)

For 38, I thought the answer was B.

I also thought that the answer was irreisistable urge.
