Good luck everybodyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy post if you get mail

and email ;)

Not that this matters anymore, but, just curious: how long were your first two essays (Times New Roman, size 12, double spaced)?

Times New Roman, 12 pt font, single spaced, 800-1000 words for each one. Hope that helps

Somebody post this already, but i want to re-post it just in case.

When and how will I find out my admissions decision?
Candidates will be notified of their admissions decision in mid May via both email and postal mail. Mailed letters will be sent to the address which you provide under Home Address on Form 1.

You cand find it here: [Frequently Asked Questions | Transfer & Other Programs | Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.yale.edu/admit/other/transfer/faq2.html)

TA, i did the same thing. Although the free topic one was a wee bit longer.

So question, is it only me? or is somebody else checking their emails every 5 min.??

I just can´t move from the computer and I don´t know what to do while waiting… anyway I think they send e-mails like at 1 or 2 no?

well i was getting in tuned with my Carmen-San-Diego detective skills. And searched for the past emails. I received the mid-April one on April 13 (Yale really has an obscure idea of when mid-month means—last time i checked it was the 15th) at 11:23am and the first email they sent was at 11:56am. So I’m guessing that it is safe to say that from 11am and beyond we will receive our emails.

(wow i sound like neurotic freak)

whatever at this point we are all freaks for getting in.

hahahahahaha i never heard such a truthful truth (sorry for the redundancy lol)

The first admitted applicant, last year, got his email on this date before 12:39 PM

Last year this date was a Tuesday, right?

Yeah…my hopes are exponentially decreasing by the second.

yeah but every time they say mid-“month” is always on the 13th
besides someone called the office and they told them that they were sending them today.

you guys can call… they will tell u

Friend got in from Deep Springs College (no surprise there).

did that friend received an email?

just call them… you can figure it out… no need to worry about emails, packages, etc…

it’s sort of awkward lol… the lady has a boring voice and just tells you whether or not you got in…

what´s the phone #

No, he got a letter on Monday. (____, we have a mutual friend, apparently.) It seems like Y isn’t making all of the decisions at once.
