Oh crap

I just realized that I only have a 10 min break between eng comp 3 and math 31b, is MS 5200 to PUB AFF 1323 in 10 min possible? I found the math sciences building, anyone know where pub aff building is?

Found the pub aff building, I may be ****ed :( Should I try and change classes now or try and get a spot in another eng comp once they lift the cap to 20? Anyone know when they do that?

get some nice running shoes

you could always leave MS a little bit early

Fantastic, It's like I'm back in gym again >:[

It's a discussion, would I be allowed to do this? And roughly how long does it take?

Maybe your discussion will suck so much that you won't end up attending or you'll just leaving early.

it doesn't seem too far... as long as you move quickly you should be able to make it.... btw is the building KNSY PV 12408 the KNUDSEN HALL building?

if we find out we have problems like this is it possible to change classes after we choose them at orientation?

Yes hfhdfjhgh

ooh I think I have a similar problem. I have Math 31B at MS and then 10 minutes later I have to be at De Neve P350 (where is that?). Is this very far away

De Neve? thats at residence buildings? pretty far away although De Neve is the closest to campus

I'm not sure..My schedule says that it's at DeNeve P350 (or De Neve Auditiorium?). Where is this building? I can't locate it on the map.

The De Neve auditorium is on the hill. Northwest part of campus, says "Commons" on this map:

http://www.ucla.edu/map/map_northwest.html

Do you mean the "Commons" between Birch and Acacia?

yes. p350 is on the third floor, right between A/B. from the front desk all you do is go up a flight of stairs (front desk, while on ground level, is level 2). i lived in birch last year and to get to my GE cluster, all i had to do was walk downstairs :)

from MS to de neve will be uphill, but if you aren't on an upper floor of MS (say, one you'd want to use the elevator to get to ground level), then you should be able to hike it okay. make sure to pack food or water with you as you won't have time for even vending machines on the way. it's going to be a powerwalk, but it's doable.

and you have a lovely choice of hill or stairs: ie, you can take bruinwalk, or you can go behind ackerman and behind pauley and use the stairs for the tennis pavilion. slightly more direct route and less people. you can make it- and as long as you get to your cluster right on time (don't need to be early unless you want a front seat) you'll be fine. as the quarter progressed my cluster started later and later anyway (instead of 3:00, sometimes 3:07...)

No. It's a lecture room between Acacia and Birch in the actual building. The Commons is where you eat. MS to De Neve isn't a good a idea unless you want to run...

oh right... my bad xD

i was thinking, it's a common area between A and B... but yah, "de neve commons" is the dining hall. whoopsie xD

umm where is KNSY PV 12408 and how far is it from humanities?

I believe the two are right next to each other.

So does anyone know how long it takes to get from MS to Pub Aff building? Should I try and change a class or keep it?

12-15 should work. You can get there in about 10-12 if you're walking briskly.
