Oh God, this is actually happening.

@fluffymilk‌ thank you for that visual! I had to have an off-campus interview since I’m well over 1000 miles away. I really wanted to see the campus, and experience the weather. I saw pictures of their library online and that was one of the things that really pulled me in. (Sorry for all the question) but did you see many students on campus? If so, how did they look? (Like excited, did they say anything to you? etc) Thanks!!

@02gloves The students seemed very ambitious and intelligent, but in a not show-offy way. My tour guide was from the same town that I’m from, which was nice. I was able to see a few classes in session and everyone looked focused, but not too stressed. The teachers all look knowledgeable and full of passion. The students that I saw on campus for the most part looked like real individuals; they weren’t all dressed the same or acting the same. They looked upbeat and happy for the most part.

About them saying things to me, well, they didn’t really say anything at all because they were pretty busy lol. But some friends of mine who are applying to schools like Milton and BB&N said that students there said things to them along the lines of “HELLO PROSPECTIVE STUDENT!!!”

@fluffymilk Andover’s decisions come out at 5:00 PM. Last year was the first time they were posted online.

@stargirl3 Oh, good to know! Hm, that’s a bit later than most schools haha

@fluffymilk They want accepted kids to get the experience of opening the package first.

Yeah but then the package doesn’t arrive and you go crazy with speculation.

Pretty much.

Andover’s was the second to last one I opened. When I pulled up Groton (also 5:00), imagine the pressure. #:-S

By the time 5:00 rolled around last year I was just so done.

It’s exhausting to be in that anticipation for an entire 13 hours.

I was clinging to my last two hopes. I had Hebrew school 4-6, so when it was over my mom and I stood in an empty classroom as I pulled the portals up on my phone.

We’d been planning on going to the new vegetarian restaurant (I’m vegan) in celebration. We went, yes, but we weren’t celebrating anything.

One time I had audition results for something come in the mail but my mom hid them from me as she didn’t want me gloating for the rest of the day (she saw that it was a larger envelope). I was mad at her at the time but I think it was for the best… I would have probably made a whole lot of kids feel bad because I have almost no self control when it comes to these types of things. :))

YOU GUYS OH MY GOODNESS I JUST RECEIVED MY TESTING RESULTS BACK

Wow, was I overexcited?

Yes.

@02gloves What test?

@stargirl3‌ ISEE, I took it on Dec.13th.

Speaking of packages being sent, does Exeter send them also, and do you receive them M10? (Not that I’m expecting to get one, just curious)

@02gloves Exeter’s package comes a couple days later.

Really anxious about SSAT results. Wish they came sooner so I can stop stressing already!
