Ok, so I sent in all of my transfer applications that were due on the 1st of March on time, but I completely forgot to send off my SAT scores and request that my transcript from the time I dual enrolled at a community college be sent as well. I just took care of all of that, but i am still freaking out!!!!!! I am so scared right now! Oh my God. I could get rejected over this!!! I am calling these schools in the morning (University of Chicago, Tufts, and Carnegie Mellon). I am calling all of them first thing in the morning. I have never been so terrified. please help. Am I going to be ok. Or should I just forget about these schools because there is now no hope?

Thank you in advance for any knowledge that you may have on this matter.

I think as long as you sent your biographical info and PS, you should be fine. I doubt your scores and transcripts had to be postmarked by the deadline (I mean they should be, but in reality, this is not enforced). You will not get rejected over this as only staff people will ever know you were late (well, some parts of your app), and I don't think they're even in a position to toss apps.

bleedingpurrple. yes, I made sure that my application and high school as well as college transcripts were in. I just hope that the admissions officers don't reject my app because of this slight oversight. I am so busy that this slipped my mind. I am really crossing my fingers right now. but a part of me wants to just accept that i may get rejected over this and so I don't hold out hope.

Most schools get so many different supplementary material and sometimes they even lose or misplace. Usually, schools give a time period to turn in missing information.

Rhode, you should not be worrying. I'd say you have 15 days after the deadline (roughly) to get the rest of the materials in AS LONG AS YOUR COMMON APP AND SUPPLEMENTS ARE IN. Maybe even 30 days but that's pushing it (but even then, the schools will have 1.5 months to decide). If you're really worried, call the schools anonymous and I'm sure they'll tell you the same thing. What school is this anyway?

You should not worry and you don't need to call. Supplementary materials come in at different times. Most schools don't even begin to process apps for some days - even weeks - after the deadline. Relax :).

Question: As a transfer, do you have to get the CollegeBoard to send your scores to each of the schools, or is simply putting your scores in the CommonApp good enough?

Jkredo3 for most schools, simply reporting your scores IS NOT enough!! you must request that the college board send the scores directly to each institution.
Thank you all! and yes, I did call each of these universities and an admissions rep told me that as long as my application and application supplement were in by the deadline I have nothing to worry about. The good news is that everything is now on its way. Thanks guys. The bad news, I went to bed at 5 because I was so terrified I couldn't sleep :(
