Oh No!! Not another *schedule* question =)

Hehe, sorry about this.

So far, I have:
Bioengineering Major

Math 1B
Chem 1A
BioE 24 (aspects of bioengineering: P/NP seminar)

BioE 10 (introduction to biomedicine for engineers - regular 4 unit course)

Engineering 98 (the decal course...)
I think I can get out of the R + C requirement - I took a CC class for Reading and Comp, and I took the AP English Lit exam (probably a 4-5) - does this clear the requirement?

Now, I wanted to take an intro-Hindi course, but it clashes with BioE 10 - I can take hindi next semester. I do, however, want to work in an econ class somewhere - hopefully pick up a minor at the end of 4 years :)

I took both AP micro and macro econ in school, and I think I did pretty well on the AP exam - what's a good course to take? I was considering taking UGBA 10 (for P/NP) but it clashes with like everything, and the pre-Haas fanatics would drive me insane...

Or is my schedule too full already?
With a generic econ course: 18 credits

Even just a fun class would be cool...suggestions?

I think your schedule looks fine the way it is w/o econ. You kinda want to take it easy your first semester. From what I can tell, Math 1B and Chem 1A should be intermediate in difficulty for most people. I heard BioE 10 is a lot of work though.

Are you pre-med? If so, keep in mind that med schools won't accept your AP English credit.

I think even with a generic econ class your schedule won't look too bad, as these are probably the easiest tech classes you'll deal with at Cal.
Chem 1A ....meh
BioE 10 ....meh, even easier if you decide to take E10 instead
BioE 24 ...nothing
E98...nothing
Math1B...people said it's hard, but at least you learn the material before if you pay attention in your AP Calc class..

@Cupola: Really? I'm still trying to decide whether I'm going to go pre-med (maybe pre-business if I decide not to go pre-med) - so would I need to take an english/R&C course?

Is there a website that lists the possible R&C-fulfilling classes?

what site did you use Indian to determine those classes? Shukariya!

I used esc.frozeninflames.net
I found the site off of the facebook Berkeley 2012 group...really helpful. Use in conjunction with schedule.berkeley.edu & Ratemyprofessor - you'll be set.
