Ohio State University Early Action For Fall 2023 Admission

Will there be additional Buckeye bound days added to the four days currently offered?

Does anyone know how/when decisions will be released tomorrow? If one is in the first wave (Feb 17), does the applicant receive an email or just keep checking the portal?

That is what happened to my son and his girlfriend two years ago, both deferred in first wave and both accepted mid/late March.

We are still waiting. Got the postcard a few weeks ago. I’m hopeful DD will get something as she was accepted to the honors program, but who knows. We’re OOS so that’s a major factor for us.

Did anyone who is accepted in January receive honors decisions?

Will there be any RD decisions released todT?

Does anyone know if there is even a chance for students who got deferred in early action to hear back today. On the portal it just says you will receive a decision by the end of March.

Our applicant got an email saying she has a Buckeye 2nd email… but portal says still under evaluation???

Did your applicant receive an email about a 2nd email address or any change to the portal?

Has anyone received a decision yet?

My son in-state received honors confirmation as well as maximus merit few weeks back. Now I wonder what else can be expected next.

Our applicant received an email eluding to the fact they were in with a new Buckeye email… but portal still says, “evaluating”

Same. And he applied Early Action and never heard anything. His portal does not say he is accepted, still evaluating.

Sooooooo idk what any of this means. Lol

Anticlimactic for sure!

S23 admitted EA to College of Engineering in December. OOS 3.73 UW/4.5 W, 1440 SAT, 9 APs, decent ECs.

We just got the merit letter in the mail this week - awarded Provost and National Buckeye ($15.5k/yr).

He was accepted to his top 3 schools and OSU is not among them, but the merit is making us reconsider. Will need to have a serious conversation regarding pros and cons of all his options.

HoCoDad - Sounds like our sons applied/accepting to same schools: Purdue OOS, OSU OOS with merit, Maryland OOS, Purdue OSS. Also accepted at VT OSS and Penn State In state for us. No merit at Maryland or VT that I am aware of, so that puts them on the outs most likely.

Whats in the lead for your son?
