This may seem like a silly question, but here goes. We paid the enrollment fee for my S1 last night and filled out the admission data form, and after we clicked submit the only message we received was "Your payment has been approved." I guess I was expecting something more along the lines of "Congratulations, you are now enrolled!" For those who have already enrolled, did I miss something or is that the only message we should have received?

It was last year so I don’t recall but…

Congrats and welcome to the Pitt Family!!

My son is a freshman and loving it, even the cold winter.

Hmmm, no, didn’t get anything like that. I suppose I should have my S1 email them and make sure everything went through correctly. Thanks though!

mdye, I submitted the deposit yesterday for my son as well and got the same message. I also thought it was a bit strange but I don’t think it really means anything. Let me know if your son emails them and receives a response though!

He did get an email back from OAFA that stated “This is to verify that we did in fact receive your enrollment deposit.”

Blah. I was kind of hoping for a little more fanfare, but at least he’s enrolled! That’s the important thing. :)

Thanks for bringing this up! I just payed mine yesterday and thought I must have done something wrong until I remembered this post.

About a day after you pay you get the big congratulations email. Not sure why it takes that long.

Didn’t get an email like that. That was kind of what I was hoping for! Oh well, it doesn’t matter. He got in, he has a spot reserved, life is good!
