Old US News Ranking for Ross School of Bus?

Well, as a Preferred Admit student for Ross, it is natural for me to wonder about the US News rankings from the past few years, even if the rankings are quite faulty.

Anyways, could somebody post them? I would appreciate them greatly.

i hope umich moves up from 25 to the top 20 and i hope ross surpasses MIT for 2007.
does anybody also know when the new rankings come out?

I believe the undergraduate rankings issue comes out in August. Not sure about the grad school.

grad school rankings already came out i think... michigan dropped a few spots in a few areas if i remember correctly

i think the op was asking for previous rankings, like 2005,2004,2003 :]

Maybe OP should do some research and find the info by themselves (or pay for the subscription to the USNWR rankings, lol).

Ross is ranked 3rd for undergrad business, behind Wharton and Sloan and tied with Hass. I believe it has been that way for the last few years.

Michigan was tied with Wharton at #1 for a couple of years in the late 90s. But since 2001, Michigan has been ranked #3. There really is no difference between the top 6 or 7 undergraduate programs and between the top 10 or so MBA programs. Ross is always regarded as one of those few programs that is elite.

"Maybe OP should do some research and find the info by themselves (or pay for the subscription to the USNWR rankings, lol)."

I did my research on my own. I already know this year's ranking. I want to know the ones from previous years because under my own efforts, I couldn't do so. Hence, I posted a question here. Maybe you should try finding the old US news rankings and notice how difficult it is before questioning others.

To Alexandre: Thank you for the information.

Ross was ranked 3rd, tied with Haas in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

Yeah, I heard that Ross was tied with Wharton for a time.

Ross also has a better management program than Wharton. Wharton is extremely finance-oriented, whereas Michigan is very good in the management and marketing fields (the more qualitative stuff).

which basically means that we rock out like no other

i concur wolverinefromchi.

Ok, sounds awesome.

Screw the Huntsman Program, haha. I didn't need them anyways.

Does anyone know if the new rankings which come out next month will show a school's SAT scores out of 2400 or will it continue to be out of 1600?

Our management program is not that much better than Wharton's. I think we're first, and they're second. We actually switched ranks this year. We also don't have as many MO courses as them.

But yeah, Ross is probably the most well rounded business program. There are no majors, only electives. Some might not like that if they want a strict concentration (like Stern), but it makes the program very broad.
