Hi! I'm an incoming student of Class 2012 of Wash U. I'm not so sure whether I should major in economics or finance, so I applied to the School of Arts and Sciences. Anybody can tell me whether it's difficult to change my major to Olin Business School?Thank you!

Wash U is known for making it very very easy to change majors across schools, double major across schools, etc. It's one of the reasons we chose it.

yeah i was thinking about that too, and i emailed them.
they were like "yeah, just email/write to us about it and we'll change it."
and i was like "awesome"

It's probably easier to do it in the business school, so you don't have to deal with the ArtSci cluster system - The b-school also has what it calls "Managerial Economics & Strategy" as a major, so you wouldn't necessarily have to go across schools to double major if you wanted.

Even so, it's still very easy to major in econ in ArtSci, and finance in Olin.
