Omg 17 Days

expect the impossible how do you count?

this week and 5 days from next sunday to next thursday (dec. 15th) 7+5=12

i do 15-4=11, 12 would be th 16th

i think you are counting next sunday twice

I do 10-4 = 6

i know it is kinda unrealistic to think its on 10....

also...the hard part would be getting through Mon-Fri...the weekends go by easily. I really think that the next five days should be the only days we have to worry about.

i included today. Today, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, and thursday (i will spent most of the day at school-so it counts as a day)

you can't count today as a day, because between now and tomorrow at this time 24 hours will have gone by, you are counting it as 48

well, let's not get caught up in semantics. We actually have no official day or time that we are counting to, hopefully we can open up the letters a week or so from now and hear the immortal words of Vin Scully ringing in our ears: "the impossible has happened"

I'm a little disappointed that Pton is so late this year only because my nervous anxiety will likely drive me insane when all my friends who applied to Yale, MIT, Dartmouth, Columbia, Stanford etc.. will have received their decisions before me. AND then there is FINALS which I'll probably rush through so I can drive like a madman back to my house to check my mailbox. Waiting is agony!

Well, technically, you want to check your doorstep because acceptances are supposedly sent Priority Mail :)

I have my app for USC due on Dec 10th and Stanford on the 15th and an extreme testing situation (basically 2 tests a day this week) so I think time will fly pretty quickly for me.

wait a minute..I thought they still shoved it in your mailbox. Its at your door???

I think so, but I'm not sure.

Well, I don't have a mailbox so It will go through the little thing in the front door and be on my floor. Unless it is an acceptance and they will probably just set it between the screen.

Maybe the letters will come earlier then they say...like, maybe they'll really be mailed out the 10th and the Princeton people say the 14th just in case it ends up being that late, so they're not assaulted with angry e-mails from anxious applicants.

shuhutch, i hope this is the case, it is what everyone is praying for.

procrastination-same deal here! I'm almost considering not applying for the USC scholarship deadline. I also have to write an extra supplement for the Annenberg school. grrr. And then there's Stanford, finals, choral concerts every day this week, and agonizing over Princeton. I used to love the holidays!

arggggggggggggggg.............can't wait

it's a killer, the wait...why can't they be compassionate and give a date, the agony will be alleviated to a certain extent

priority mail isn't a good thing - express mail is the fast one, priority is what they call normal post

normal is First Class
priority is SLIGHTLY better...it doesn't make a difference for people living in BosWash...only for people living West of Mississippi or maybe Deep South...
