Omg omg omg omg.

So today the results came out. Here are mine:

Math 2: 720. (not that bad)
Chem: 640.

In chem. I am a freshman in college applying to transfer out. 640.

Ok. I worked really hard and I think I succeeded in achieving all my goals, SAT wise, GPA wise, extracurricular wise, all of that. But I don't know how to tell MIT: "No MIT! I'm not bad at chemistry! I just had a bad day and SUPER ran out of time for both tests! I know this!!!"

Without sounding whiny and picky of course.

I know it's not that bad. But my chem is a lot lower than it should be, I am chem major.

Here is my stuff. Please tell me if it balances out. I think it does but ahhh... still shocked from the scores. I knew I hadn't done well because I super ran out of time for both exams. Anyway, here I am:

ECs: (w/o elaborating so as not to bore anyone =D)

Vice-President/co-founder of Mathematics & Astronomy Club.

Stargazing

Southern Cross Astronomical Society

Research in spinal cord injury & regeneration in zebrafish. Neuroscience consortium with UPitt Medical School.

Organized Fitness Group in school- workout 5 days a week, 2 hours/day

Organized food/cloth drive for Haiti. Awesome turnout.

Read a lot on math theories. Keep "theories" journal. (haha, read a lot of math stuff and make my own stuff up. Like why primes approach the golden ratio as they reach infinity, MU puzzle, etc etc. That sort of thing)

Tutor privately as side job ($20/hr) high school and college bio, chem, physics, and all of math.

Hold study groups for math and physics. Weekly. Several times a week.

Biology Club

Website Master for website for my neuroscience research.

That's pretty much it. My teacher recommendations, ESPECIALLY, the one from my chemistry professor, are fantastic. Most of my professors are been really supportive especially because I was the highest grade in all my classes last semester, in every single test/assignment the entirety of the semester. However, my chemistry professor, who's a bit insane, seems to think I am the next god of chemistry which God knows it's not true, but anyway, point is his recommendation should be flawless.

But yeah. I worked soooo hard and then came my SAT Subject test. Like I said, I can't blame the curve because I knew I ran out of time, Big time. I left 8 blank in chem and 11 blank in math 2.

So yeah.

How do I tell them: "MIT!!! I'm NOT bad at math or chem, I was just having a bad day!!!"

Without you know, typing that.

Thanks guys! =D
