OMG! My life is over...

My AP Physics teacher gave me an 82 in the class, and it goes on my transcript... Now I can't get a 4.0 weighted anymore. I calculated this from the beginning. But o wellss... Will a 5 on the AP Exam make up for this? And possibly an 800 on the SAT2?

[Who wants to jump out the window? Join me!]

I wouldn't suggest jumping out of a window. If you're dead, Harvard will automatically reject you.

are you a senior? b/c a college will not see a 5 on an AP Exam until July. which means that a 5 will have no bearing on admissions.

Yes, a 5 will definately not hurt :)

Have your GC mention the difficulty of the class in his report...colleges will understand if this is Physics C the colleges will DEFINATELY understand

OMG, just accept the fact that you got an 82 and move on with your life! Not everyone is going to go to their GC begging for them to write an excuse even if he/she is applying to top colleges.

Your AP Physics teacher didn't "give" you an 82, you earned that 82.

It's a sad life if it depends on a 4.0 GPA

I thought my life was over when I got run over by a train
but then I woke up

but your nightmare takes the cake

that's still better than being on the verge of getting a first B+ on driver's Ed....

I took a test to get my driver's permit - I barely passed with a 72, just by one multiple choice question. That was pretty sweet.

lil_killer what high school do you go to? I'm also from NYC.

environmental studies, u?
