<p>I can't believe it. UCSD was one of my top schools. How much emphasis was on the GPA, SATs, and essays?</p>
<p>The high rejection rate is possibly due to the high acceptance rate last year. There was alot of seniors from my high school last year that went to UCSD.</p>
<p>Certainly s ike only v hg Gpa/above ave-high SATs have been accepted.
I was looking at 2007 acceptance threads and there were many many people with mid range GPA(3.6-3.8) and 1850-1950 range accepted. ECs being similar of course.</p>
<p>We may have to wait to see more people check their stats and post. But by the first look this seems to be more numbers based than UCD which was waaay random</p>

Fairly good ECs (4 year comm. service, 4 years church, other misc stuff.)</p>
<p>WOW...i cant believe you guys got rejected. I got in and I had like a 3.8 UC GPA and 2110.</p>
