I dropped a PE class for a W this semester and forgot to mention it in all of my apps. Two were for UCI and UCLA and the other two were for CSUs. What should I do. It completely skipped my mind and I just remembered it now? Would it be as bad, technically the semester is not over.
Will I be able to change it at the end of the Fall report?

You can update your fall grades in January for the UC’s so don’t fret it too much. I’m not too sure about the CSU’s but if you’re a realistic candidate for UCI and UCLA you’re going to be in there anyways.

why did u drop a PE class? easy A man :)

No. I was in 29 units at the moment. And I needed 64 hours of open gym to pass the class. And I was told it doesn’t even count for your GPA.

Up to 4 units of PE counts towards UC.

i dropped 3 classes… got 3 Ws for fall… :3

Let me make you feel better!
I just activated a new ATM card today, which is a replacement card of the one that I used to pay my UC application…and when I checked my checking account record I found the UC 's payment is still labeled as ‘processing’…
Since you know what will happen to the old card when you activate a replacement card…
I hope now you are feeling better…

I still don’t know how the unmentioned PE class will affect my application.

it wont. you have a chance to change your classes during january i think.

iwllflyby - Not reporting your complete academic history in the APP even if it doesn’t count towards your UC transferable units(which your PE would have done if you didn’t withdraw) is considered as academic dishonesty. If they find out (which they are because you have to send in your transcripts later), you are risking being rescinded if you are accepted. And seeing as how the app is shared with the other UCs, that dishonesty marker has a chance of getting out to all the UCs you applied to.

It may be 1unit class but the amount of Ws is something they look for when determining if a student will be accepted or not. I may not know how much punishment you’ll get if at all, but I’m pretty sure a redflag like that will cause them to look through your APP with a fine tooth comb and verify the rest of the info is true.

If what Tallud is saying is correct then make sure you do that.

I will surely note it for January. But what I want to know is how I can inform them. I do know that it’s dishonesty, that’s why I fear something bad is going to happen if I don’t report it. What I want to know are details. I know everything that everyone is saying, and I totally appreciate it, but I still don’t know what I’m supposed to do between this time and the next update.

Your inability to judge the urgency of a situation surprises me.
This is not a big mistake…

Well, one will go to some extent to make sure they won’t get automatically denied. There are some people out there that are shoo-in to their school of choice or just don’t care what school they transfer to, and there are those, like me, who has a small chance to go to the school of their choice and still try their best for that small chance. Why I would not worry about it…? Well, at the moment, it is VERY important to me.

Yeah I emailed them the second email address and got a reply saying that they are closed already. So I emailed the first email that you provided.

dont worry about it. ur suppose to keep the UCs updated about ur grades. when the time is rite, just u can put W on ur app. this quarter i put everything as “IN PROGRESS”. if u didnt inform them that u withdrew during a previous semester, then u would be in big trouble.

UCs don’t look at your applications until after the Transfer Update (in Jan) - so don’t sweat it. Just update it with the correct grade, and make a note in the additional comments box that will be provided.

Oh, and if this is a W you received in the Fall, then you are totally fine. You’re not obligated to report Fall grades until the Transfer Update.

Thank you very much, you two. Much love. <333
