I applied on-campus housing @ UCLA... more specifically I applied for the residential plazas. (You get your own bathroom) The thing is.. I chose Double rather than Double (Shared bathroom) under preferences. Should I have chose shared bathroom rather than just double. I'm confused because I'm wondering if shared bathroom is the private bathroom and just double is the community bathrooms per level. Make any sense?

when i did my application, i thought double meant community bathrooms and the one that said shared bathroom meant sharing with the room next door.

thats what I did. I chose "double shared bathroom" first, then "double"

Double shared bathroom just means you share a bathroom with the room next door. (this is technically a plaza "suite")

Double plaza means that you have your own bathroom.

So... am I fine then? I chose Residential plazas for all 3 of my preferences =)
And below that I chose Double.... not Double Shared. Does this mean I will get my own bathroom if I get a plaza?

Bump!!!!!!!!!!

the shared bathroom is still a plaza, so you will either get your own bathroom or share one with the room next door, which isn't bad. I lived in a triple shared this year.

So Double (not shared bathroom) implies private bathroom if you get the plaza? Am I understanding this correctly? =)

i put down on the housing application that i didnt want a person that didnt drink, does this mean im going to get an alcoholic?

there were only two options  "i dont want a person who drinks" or "i dont want a person who doesnt drink"

No...I know a lot of people who only drink moderately. A beer here or there on a weekend. No biggie. The chance of you rooming with an alcoholic is pretty slim.

I hope my roommates aren't wack
