Be prepared to ask the interviewer some questions. But yes, you are right: relax and be yourself.

I had mine two weeks ago

I’m going to be honest, people try and tell you that interviews are scary and they drill you with questions but that’s completely wrong. My interview was in late july and the admissions counselor I had was extremely easy to connect with. Instead of drilling me with questions, it was more like a conversation that you’d have with a teacher trying to get to know you. The gist of our conversation was about one of the summer jobs I had that impressed him, we talked about Winston-Salem for a while, and then maybe be a little familiar with current events. I only say the current events part because I implied on my application that current events were important to me so he hinted some questions (more general) about current events.

Apart from all of that, talk like you would normally. Don’t try and use language to impress. Its a normal conversation from one human being to another.

Hope this helps.

Be prepared to answer , " what are you reading?"

Relax and have a regular conversation , I knew my daughter was doing ok when I heard her laughing during her interview ,while I was in the waiting room.
