i have a 3.45 gpa and a 19 on act (just retook it, scores back soon) i have ap classes and advance classes set in my schedule for next yr. extracurriculars:band, track, cross country, leadership program, national honor society and i’m a michigan resident…where does this put me?

I just received my SAT scores recently and I earned

630 Math
520 Reading
650 Writing

I also earned a 26 on my last ACT.

What would my chance’s be now?
I also have

7 AP/IB Classes
6 Honors Classes

Your SAT scores put you in the middle of the “middle 50%” of last year’s incoming Freshman class. Your ACT score puts you a little higher in the “middle 50%” range.

Given the many thousands of applications that MSU receives each year, thousands with your scores end up getting rejected.

You have a chance, but make sure you also apply to some safety schools as well.

Apply as early as possible to increase your chances. Try to explain your low gpa in your ps.
