One bad grade, can it ruin it all? Please i need expertise!

<p>I know i might come out as a perfectionist to some, but this is my future! </p>

<p>As of now i have a 3.86 gpa for community college. That is when i don't add the C! I got four years before when i was a freshmen in college. I didn't even know this music class was accredited for college. But sadly i found out midway through the semester i began with a 2.0 gpa :( </p>

<p>my main question is will this guitar class break the chances of making into USC? let say i keep up the good work and end up with a 3.7 or higher. This is my first year of actual college (not counting 4 years ago) and i have 30 units round up my first semester (3 ap classes and sports included) i need just 30 units to apply to USC...</p>

<p>OH! i want to become an electrical engineer or mechanical... not sure. :)</p>

They normally make that pretty clear…</p>
