One Bad Semester

I'm a Sophomore in High school with a 3.9 weighted GPA and a 3.7 unweighted GPA. I'm in 2 AP classes (Microeconomics and English language) 2 math classes (so I can take AP Calc senior year) and all honors classes. This semester started off and crashed and it's half way through the semester and I have straight B's, C's, and an F. If I bring my grades up to at least a 2.8 GPA then my GPA will be a 3.5 UW. Will one bad semester hurt my chances at Emory (or Oxford College of Emory)? I have a double legacy there. I have many extracurriculars (rowing, sports medicine, sunday school teacher, and leader and naturalist in training) and am not expecting to do as badly next semester.
AFTER READING PLEASE ANSWER:
1.) Will 1 bad semester hurt my chances?
2.) Next semester should I take one on-level class to lessen my stress and boost my GPA?
P.S. I'm planning on having taken at least 7 AP classes by the time I graduate.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!

Sorry you are having a bad semster. At this point, just do whatever you can to bring up that F. If you rebound next semester and Junior year, you should be ok.

But… please chill on the AP classes. Don’t take so many that you can’t juggle all your academics and ECs.

I really appreciate your advice! Thanks for responding!
