During my sophomore year of high school I took 1 AP course, Jr. year 3 AP's, and senior year (this year) 4 AP's. I've gotten straight A's through my first three years of high school and I should continue that in my senior...except for one class. At the end of this semester I should have all A's and a C in one of my AP classes. Is this going to horribly affect my admissions due to the requisite mid-year reports? I don't feel like I slacked off....just didn't do so hot in one class =). Any advice?

One C on your mid-year report, after three years of straight As, won't be a big deal unless you're applying to hypercompetitive schools (HYPS et al).

Yeah I figured that would be the case. I am applying to some of the super competitive universities (Stanford, Princeton and Columbia) but they are all amongst my reach schools anyways and I will in no way be heart broken if I'm not accepted. On a side note, pulling an all nighter before the final paid off and I was able to raise that C up to a B!!!! I never thought I'd be so happy to receive a B in my life!
