ONE last admissions question - SORRY !

I apologize for asking so many questions, but here are two more questions, please-

Question- When freshman decisions are rendered on December 14, midnight, does that mean that the actual acceptances are listed on Tuesday December 13 @ 600PM ? "

I am currently submitting my UCF honors application and I am inquiring how the honors application process works at FSU ?
Is honors information provided during the acceptance process ?
Thanks again !

It means that they are sent out at midnight. Yes, it has happened before that the information was available before midnight, but that doesn’t mean it will be.

I don’t believe that is how honors works. You either get a letter in the mail shortly after the admissions info is listed which is an invitation to join FSU’s Honors program, or you don’t get the letter and have to petition (which can be difficult to be accepted).

You should probably read [this page](http://honors.fsu.edu/admissions.html).

I petitioned for Honors. I was one point off the ACT requirement, but I met the requirement for petitioning, wrote my personal statement, and was admitted. Wasn’t too bad!

The Honors invitation is included in the acceptance package that is mailed to you a couple days after the announcement date.

Again, the online announcements last year were viewable earlier than midnight. We viewed ours just after 6pm.

PS- Forgot to add:

My son also received a phone call from the university extending an invitation to the Honors program. The call came from an honors student @ 7PM (prior to the scheduled midnight announcements). Caller id showed Florida State U. Pretty cool.
