One more -- what are my chances -

Hi -- I know there have been alot of these and thank you in advance if you can provide me with any input.... I understand it's all speculation and you won't know until you know but the wait is killin me

PSAT -- Reading 77, Writing 77, Math 67 (National Merit Semi-Finalist)
SAT -- Reading 770, Writing 770, Math 670

4 AP classes all with a score of 5
Taking 3 additonal AP senior year - AP Physics, AP Psy and AP English

AP and Honor Classes -- 7 point scaled used at my high school -- have mostly A's a few B's and one C+ through my junior year. Midterms were 4 A's and 2 B's

National Honor
AP Scholars with Honors
Competetive Year Round Swimmer since 4th grade -- Varsity in HS -- All Conference and All State

A couple of academic clubs for 4 years and communitry service but swimming takes alot of time -- 2-3 hours of practice each day, six days a week so this is light.

Application complete -
Nomination received on 1/14
CFA - was allowed to retake due to being sick when I took it first time -- mile was 7.35, everything else was average or above except pushups -- 35.

Medical -- was told by WP admissions two weeks ago that if I was selected I would get a waiver - nothing serious.

I've got a couple of back ups in place but WP has been my dream for years...

Again -- thanks in advance --

Academics look fine, CFA looks fine enough. Any leadership roles?

You look solid so now’s the time to sit and worry yourself silly. It’s that time of year! What’s your backup plan? Don’t hesitate on that either in case something unexpected happens.

Best of luck to you.

Leadership – Lifeguard 2 years, Key Club, SLA, Academic Club - Team Lead for group, Swim Mentor for 4 years

Back up - 1st VTech - Core of Cadets, ROTC at state school –

Thanks for your input –

looking above average, NC203KD.
Here is my input on WP.
If you happen to receive an appointment, make sure you validate History…
I am telling you right now.
There are so many friends who regret not validating history classes, and if you decide not to validate, and do your best to be placed in US History because you already know US History, and IMO, it makes sense to learn deeply about your own history.
As a person who didn’t learn much about US History, learning Western Civilization didn’t do anything to me…

excellent stats, excluding leadership. remember a lot of kids coming in are captain of a sports team, president of a club, and maybe a leadership position in another area. but i think your swimming and sat’s will get you in. my prediction: see you at beast!
