Well, as many of us intel's took sat only once, would that count? I mean, if you take it few times and the best score on each part counts, you certainly boost your chances of getting a nice score...
Whish I could retake, though :(

I took it for the first time in November with only 1 day's study behind me. And of course it affects our chances, but there isn't much that we can do about it, except attaining the best score possible!

so what do expect?

I really don't know, but I am itching to find out!!! I am really hoping for a good score, because this is my only attempt at the Reasoning Test before sending in my applications.

How about you, did you take the November SAT, or have you already done it before?

Actually, this was the first time I took it. I was hoping for verbal 650+, writing 700+ (essay 8+), math 780+, but it all went awfully and lets just say I already found two wrong in math, so :( And definitely less than 600 in verbal and writing, probably...
I was in such a hurry on the day that I didn't even have time for breakfast :(
But well... are you retaking or it's sat II in December? I'm taking Math IIC, Physics and French and feeling quite enthusiastic about all but Physics. You?

I have already registered for the SAT I again in December, however depending on how I do in November exams I will decide whether to change to the SAT II or not. If I do choose to do so, I think I will do two of those that you mentioned, and I will replace French with Literature... Maths and Physics should be alright for me, I am just a little worried about the humanity that I have to take.

Yeah... so how well do you speak French? I can't find much prep material, as far as I have seen it seems ok, exept for sligh vocab problems I might have...
Where are you from?

I like to think that I can speak French fairly fluently, and can also write confidently with a dictionary by my side. However my vocab isn't too flash so I really don't think the SAT II French exam would be the best exemplar of my abilities. Hence, I am going to take Literature, despite the fact that I prefer writing rather than analysing grammar and vocab... As far as prep goes, I honestly have no clue as I haven't done any myself. However, from what I've read on here, you might like to try the Barrons and the Kaplan books.

I am from Australia, how about you?

I only got this collegeboard one with all sat II subjects, and I'm trying to find something on the net. There is no way I'm buying something since I live in Serbia and Montenegro, so it would take a while for the book to reach me. Did you take any international French exams like Delf, Dalf or TCF? I'm trying to compare the difficulty...
I see you're quite into science... what are you planning to major in?

I sent you a PM in response to your last post..
