Online Courses Bad?

Do top universities accept online CC courses? Are they really the same weight as "regular" courses? I've heard a lot of bad things about them and how they aren't accepted as "valid" or "credible."
Your opinions on this?

As long as they are accredited, they are pretty legit. Oh, and that’s it’s a “normal” course like Western Civilization or Calculus rather than Underwater Basket Weaving or Intro to Ebay.

In fact, they may respect your initiative in taking online courses. Still, if your high school or local colleges are respected for academic rigor, than you should take those. For example, I live close to a respected master’s university (probably about 50-60 in national rankings of USNWR) and took classes there instead of the closer community college.

Hahaha yean no ebay or youtube in here. It’s a Philosophy class, and yes, my HS doesn’t offer it and there are no prestigious academies nearby. It is accredited as well.

Thanks!

bump!!!

What PBailey said. I also took a phil course online. I’m sure it’s fine.
