Hi I just need a little help here
My "finalized schedule" that i make online can be changed when I attend CalSO right?

Also, what should a pre-Haas first semester look like (im planning to take 4 classes) ?
Major pre reqs - How many?
Breadths - How many?
Anything else?

Thanks

The schedule you make is just an outline for telebears. So you can change it whenever you wish. They just want you to have thought about it.

The classes I took were:
Econ 1
UGBA 10
Breadth
Breadth
{both breadths were pre-reqs for my 2nd major}

Usually, you want to think about your backup major and fulfilling some pre-reqs. I recommend econ and ugba early as you don’t want to continue to pursue a major you have no interest in…

might want to take Econ 1 in spring? I heard that the professor is giving them summer homework but if you don’t mind then take it…starrynight, I’m also a pre-haas and I was wondering, if taking four classes+seminar was too much work?

Chinese 1Y (5)
Env Sci 10 (3)
ESPM 24 (1)
History 6A (4)
Sociology 1 (4)

Ok so as I understand it…I should take 2 more serious classes (im thinking about math 1B, econ 1, UGBA 10, stats 21) and 2 easier breadth classes? im probably gonna take a R&C class instead of one of the breadth.

your help is greatly appreciated =)

6 classes would be killer. Hell, even the first four you mentioned are killer. I hope you didn’t mean that you were taking them all in one semester.

hm I think he just means two classes of the four…But taking any of those two together might be killer? Unless you’re really really good at math… and memorizing?

I think BA10 and Math 1B along with two easy breadth is fine. Anything more is a bit too much for my taste.

Yes this is what I meant. 2 hard classes + 2 easy breadth OR 1 easy breadth and 1 R&C

Does anyone know of any easy breadths my first semester? And is it normal for me to not be able to choose breadths with the online orientation thing?
