OOS Scholarship question

Thanks in advance for any clarification you can provide...

Both the Foundation Fellows and Ramsey Scholarships include "a Regents Out-of-State Tuition Waiver"

Does this mean the OOS scholarship results in no tuition at all or that the OOS student simply pays in-state tuition?

Also, the UGA web site indicates the Presidential scholarship includes "a Regents Waiver of the out-of-state fees" will be included. In reviewing the costs of attendance, "Tuition and Fees are lumped together. So what would a "waiver of the out-of-state fees" mean in terms of the amount waived?

out of state waiver means that you would pay in state, which is roughly 7K I believe, compared to about 25K out of state tuition.

Thanks.

Anyone with knowledge of fees vs. costs?

Fees are separate from tuition. Fees are about $800 per semester and are not waived by the OOS waiver, which only waives the difference between OS and IS tuition.

Edit: You can find more information about fees and the OOS waiver on the [Bursar website](<a href=“| UGA Finance Division”>http://www.bursar.uga.edu/).
