OOS Transfer?

I'm a current sophomore at a public university in the Midwest and interested in tranferring to UVA next fall. I've done some research and am extremely interested in the 5 year MPP program, which is part of the reason I want to transfer. I'm just wondering what my chances are of being admitted to UVA and whether coming in as a transfer student would hurt my chances of being accepted to the MPP program later (which I would have to apply to at the end of my junior year). Any advice is appreciated.

I dont think I am qualified to chance you since I guess I am in a similar situation.
A Midwest public school sophomore who is trying to transfer to U Va. Maybe we can help each other out?

Hah I'm not really sure how much help I could be, but its at least good to know there are other people coming from the same place. Do you know how many transfers are 3rd year as opposed to 2nd?
