If I'm applying to schools like Stanford, Harvard, Berkeley, etc. should I submit 740?

I'm planning on going into biology. I got an 800 on the Bio SAT and a 5 on the AP Bio exam. I also got a 5 on the AP Calc AB exam.

The schools don't require it, but they "recommend" to send in 2 SAT subject test scores. I will send the 800 Bio, but if should I send 740 Math 2? It's the 62nd percentile. Would it be better to send it or would that hurt my chances?

Not to be too blunt, but you and that other guy you were talking to who was fretting over his “low” 750 need to calm down and look at the bigger picture. I say this facetiously, so don’t take any offense. SAT IIs constitute a very small portion of your overall application, and the percentile matters much less than the actual number score. Seriously, don’t sweat the small stuff. If the rest of your application is worthy of top 20 schools then you’re good.

@isl4ndsurf3r There wasn’t anything too egregious about OP’s attitude, OP just didn’t know what kind of score was good because the percentile may have been confusing (Even though it’s only mainly good math students who take the test). It would have been better if you made a constructive comment instead of a mean one so that OP can improve his or her attitude.
