<p>Sort of. The only problem is finding an unused computer at certain times.</p>

<p>The best place to get access without all the crowds will probably be at the chemistry library (4th story of young hall), which requires no login and will almost always be free since most people don't use it, and few (if any at all) incoming freshmen know about it. But the time it takes to walk there and back will probably be the same as just waiting at the computers every first year will be using</p>

<p>Not for the chemistry computer lab (they're always logged in), as well as the open computers on the second story of Powell library (the clicc lab on the first story of powell requires login though)</p>

<p>yeah as long as you bring an ethernet cord, you can connect to the internet.</p>

<p>jyancy, sorry. But umm.. is there more than one lab area? Are we talking about the one series of rooms (maybe 10 or so?) that's directly above the lower div chem labs? And there's a big blue banner in the hallway? In most of the rooms, the computers are placed along the back wall and some as part of a ring in the center of the room, right?</p>

<p>Ohhh... never been to the library or even seen it around. Unless... it happens to be right on top of the CS lecture rooms?</p>
<p>Although dorm rooms don't have wireless connection the lounges which are on each floor do. Also many of the quad areas and cafes have wireless as well.</p>

<p>There will be mobs at the computer labs at Covel. I'm at Rieber, but I got secret access (no one else got in except me)</p>
<p>Bring a laptop if you want, but you won't need it to sign up for classes. This is only if you want personal use anytime.</p>
