<p>Hey guys! I was accepted to UCF for Summer B term and I wanted to know what to expect at orientation. Do the students go with other students who share the same major? What do you do on the first day of orientation, and how long is each day of orientation typically? I just want to be prepared and not be totally lost at orientation LOL. </p>
<p>hey, I haven’t been to orientation yet but ill let you know what ive heard.
basically its long but its packed with info. I believe that you are separated from your parents and go from room to room and listen to different informational speeches. You are also put into groups of students, and its a good time to get to know each other. Its drawn out, a little awkward… but I was so excited to be on the campus so It wasn’t a big deal. Im not planning on staying over night, but if you do its like staying in a dorm to get to know the campus and see a preview. You aren’t divided by major. and you do get to make your schedule that day… so have an idea what classes your interested in taking. Each day is like 8 hours long and there is usually 2 full days! bring a comfy outfit and be prepared to learn haha.

<p>if your are attending a summer orientation you do not need to attend a fall one as well. You will receive all the info there and can make your fall schedule as well</p>
