I recently got accepted into University of Pittsburgh and Purdue University, so why, then, is it so much harder to get into Ohio State these days? Not too long ago, I was looking up its previous stats. A lot of people with sub-par stats got into the college, but its now requiring you to have a higher GPA and test scores. I wouldn’t necessarily say that my stats are bad–they’re average if anything, but I got deferred from the college. Does this mean that I’m just going to get rejected? I’m an Ohio resident, by the way.
My stats: 3.2 unweighted, 3.6 weighted, 1920 sat composite, first generation, 3 honors fresh year, 3 honors sop year, 3 honors junior year, 1 honor and 2 ap classes this year, etc… etc…
