I have read so many threads since last year and everyone just talks about Finance, Economics, Accounting, and how those subject can benefit your future careers.

I want to know more about Management Information Systems. :) I know that MIS is not a popular subject among students within the business field, but learning the aspects of MIS is a huge part of making a business sucessful. Don't you think?

Yes, we treat them like valued but strange relatives.

Take a class or two. The problem with management on a whole is it's a serious subject that is latched onto by executives and consultants who have no idea what they're talking about, and then things are made into meaningless buzzwords and annoying fluff.

lol barrons - my sister has BS in MIS; I'm gonna have to pass that little nugget on to her. And btw, now that you mention it...that is a perfect description.
