I'm from South Carolina and I've already applied, but I'm just wondering what my chances are statistically. Also, is Cal more of a Stat school (I have 13 APs and an SAT score of 2360) or more of an intangible school (I have some leadership stuff and violin, but not really a whole lot else)? Basically, I'm just getting antsy and want some answers lol. Thanks

I got admitted out-of-state a couple years ago and I took 10 APs. My SAT was out of the old one and it was 1440 out of 1600. (These are both lower than yours.) But I had loads of extracurriculars, which may have helped.

It's really hard to say if you want me to be honest. My friend got a higher SAT score than me and higher SAT IIs but was rejected out-of-state probably due to a lack of extracurriculars.

Personally, I think you have a decent chance, but you can never know. Cal's admissions is weird.
