I got a 3.67 (calculated on CSU mentor) and 30 ACT and live in NJ. I'm Asian if that does anything and can afford the tuition with no aid. I took 9 honors and 3 APs and taking 5 APs this year. I also applied to CSU LA and fullerton and the dominguez one. I prolly have no shot right? Plus the App doesnt ask for activities/ECs so how to you submit them?

Most CSUs don’t factor in EC’s. The cal polys do, at least for engineering, but just a little.

Oh, thanks for telling me. You think I have a shot at getting into any of those schools?

CSULB will be the hardest CSU to get into out of the ones you applied to. CSUF is also a reach. CSULA is a slight reach, but not as hard to get into as CSULB and CSUF. If there is a CSU you have a fairly good chance at getting accepted at, it will be CSUDH. They usually get very few applicants because they are ranked as one of the lower CSUs. You can’t submit ECs on the CSU application. They only want grades and test scores.

if you can’t get into a university, I advise you to start at a CC in California?

I can’t afford the out of state tuition for CA schools but that isn’t the reason
I moved to CA.

I actually moved to CA this spring because I was sick of where I was living and
didn’t think a major in would benefit me at all.

I just started going to a CC here in Los Angeles and there are A LOT! of
benefits for attending a CC in CA.

For example the LACCD (Los Angeles Community College District)
has a thing called TAP (I don’t know if you want to apply to UCLA) but it
guarantees your admission IF! you fulfill the honors requiremants at the CC.

I don’t think I will be applying for honors here, but I am currently interested
in transferring to CSULB within a few years.

You will only know if you try GL.
