sen- taking 3 ap's(physics b, calcBC, and stat), rest honors</p>

<p>varsity baseball 9-12</p>

<p>national Honor Society 11-12</p>

<p>150 hours community service @ summer baseball
camp for kids(counselor)</p>

<p>attended the 3 week Honors Summer Institute at Florida
Atlantic University, recieved an A in the 3000 level course
Genetics Disease and the Environment,(3 Credits)</p>

<p>recreational volleyball, soccer and fishing, and an
avid magician</p>

<p>You're pretty much in the Honors College. If you raise your GPA and/or get that SAT up to 1450/2100, you could get some serious scholarship consideration.</p>

<p>You're definately in on scholarship. The only negative is your UW GPA, but your difficult courseload explains that.</p>

<p>a little off thread, I am a little leary, u pitt gave me a travel voucher for my D to come see them, is this the norm? My D is going to look at the honorsthere and has stats sim to op, but she is a Black Female, going to pre med Did you op get that voucher or anybody else, I am a cynic</p>

<p>I was not aware that UPitt distributed travel vouchers; however, many colleges do that to attract promising OOS students that live a certain distance and otherwise may not be able to visit.... Don't be surprised if she receives vouchers from other schools as well. Also, it doesn't hurt to ask other colleges in which your D might be interested for a travel voucher, either...</p>

<p>Yeah, Pitt does that for OOS students looking at the Honors College. Nothing to be cynical about.</p>
