<p>What is BIng like for out-of-staters? Do most students come and stay with people from their high schools? Do many students go home each weekend? My daughter is considering Bing, but she doesn't want to be an outsider at a state school.</p>
<p>I don't go to Bing, myself, but I know plenty of people who do go there. None of them come home every weekend, and although some may have friends that they know from HS, chances are they don't live with them.</p>
<p>Your daughter will not feel like an outsider. There is one student from my HS going to Binghamton and he knows nobody (personally) that is going and had no doubts when sending in his deposit(We're in NYC). </p>
<p>I think your daughter should look into it further. It is truly a great school (at an awesome price!). </p>
