Outside Scholarships

My daughter is an incoming freshman at UCD. This board has answered so many questions for both of us. However, I can’t seem to find the answer to our current questions, and it seems like the phone lines in the financial aid office aren’t open today. I am having trouble finding the deadline for outside scholarship payment to UCD as well as the Financial Aid POC Contact for UCD. My daughter needs to officially accept an outside scholarship and needs this information to do so. I’m hoping Gumbymom will have the answers we need?

Scholarship check requirements:

Checks must be payable to “UC Regents".
Reference students name with payment.
Reference UC Davis student ID# with payment.
Reference what quarter funds are to be disbursed (i.e. Fall 2018 or prorate over 2018/19 academic year).

Scholarships must be received prior to the fee payment deadline to be credited to student balance, or could result in courses being dropped.

Outside scholarships are disbursed along with financial aid each quarter.
UC Davis Fee Payment Deadline dates:  Sept 15th, Dec 15th, Mar 15th, Jun 15th, July 15th.

Sorry, I cannot find the deadline information but if she is an incoming Freshman, I believe you have until the first tuition payment is due for the outside scholarship which is in August. Regarding the FA POC contact, I would just call tomorrow when the office is open again.

@loveorangecats Great! Note that Davis has two different mailing addresses depending on whether the scholarship check is sent via USPS or UPS/Fed Ex.
