Oxbridge Academic Programs

compared to the ASA program, the Oxbridge one is rocket science. My kids did both and this is first (first-in-law?)hand observation

I’m going this Summer, 2010, Oxford tradition! The only thing that is bothering me, is that I’m going ALONE, and that scares me!! (haha) anyone else going ?? Ohh and my subjects are Medical Science and Neuropsychology ;D

Anyone knows the result of scholarship application already?

not as of yet, i applied to the oxford prep program on academic scholarship… apparently the results come back up to three weeks after the scholarship application deadline :)

I applied for the Oxford tradition. Since this is already the third week, I am quite nerous now

Any one accepted?

Acceptances go out by snail mail tonight (Tuesday 3/23) so you should get them in a few days. The staff was kind enough to give me my daughter’s acceptance to Montpellier and financial aid information over the phone just now.

My friend and I both received our scholarship acceptances! we are extremely excited, but unfortunately she may not be able to go : ( I will be going to Oxford so anyone else going let me know since I may be attending solo!

Anybody want to start a new thread specifically for this summer’s Oxbridge program so we don’t have to wade through the old stuff?

AspenKC, Congratulations! We’d like to hear from you after summer. My D. will love to apply when she is older. she is now in middle school and said she wanted to go. I convinced her she should wait for several years. We’d love to hear from people who go, esp. with scholarships.

herandhismom-I will definitely be posting my experience after this summer! :D

Fairfielder-sounds like a great idea, would be nice to get to know some people attending the summer programs.

I attended the Oxbridge program in Montpellier, France last summer. The dorms were located just outside the central downtown area, which was great. My room was small but comfortable, and had everything I needed including a great view of the City. I took a philosophy class and a french class and found my teachers knowledgeable and interesting. Montpellier is a great town and I consider myself lucky to have been able to participate in this program.

I’m dying to know more about this program. So if you attend, please post when you’re back like tsarchio did. tsarchio, thanks! Did your French improve a lot from attending this?

@AspenKC, Hi there  I am also going alone, since my friends didn’t get a scholarship and that scares me a bit ! Haha. What courses did you choose?

I am doing an international business major and photography minor, I cant wait
