Oxford at Emory OR NYU GSP??? PLEASE HELP!

hey guys
i came down to oxford at emory and NYU GSP- they are both 2 year liberal arts programs. i like nyu for the city part but after 2 two years at oxford i will automatically transfer to emory college, which is a more pretigious school than nyu. also what are the chances of me transfering to stern from gsp??
so please give me any advice that you can.
THANK YOU!

Well as far as I know transferring between schools at NYU is akin to transferring to a different college/university entirely, as internal transfers do not exist in that sense. That said, Stern is tough to get into, even from another school at NYU.

yes, both are quite similar, you earn an AA degree after two years and "transfer" out of your junior year. What school did you apply to as an undergraduate though? Because if i remember right, if you applied to stern and got into GSP, after GSP you get into stern. You should also think about where you'll be happier. In a very small college town, or a huge city like new york.

i applied to cas for nyu and got put into gsp. i'm rather undecided on my major that's why i applied to cas but right now i'm leaning toward business so i thought transfering to stern would be a good idea although it seems extremely difficult. i definitely like new york (big city setting) a lot better than a small college town like oxford. but emory seems like a more pretigious school than nyu and it's easier to get in to their business school my junior year.

so i'm torn between an academically better school or a more fun one. don't know what to do :(

if you want to go into business, getting into Goizueta is much more realistic than getting into Stern.
I think Goizueta has something like a 75% acceptance rate. basically you just need like a 3.4. and coming from Oxford will not hurt your chances
