OK, so heres the deal, I was accepted into all 3 schools and I think I really want to go for business or econ, I was not sure which at the time of applying so I went with CAS. However, I have begun to lean heavily to business and know that transfering from CAS to Stern is not likely, approx 10%-15% acceptance. Also Financial aide is 15k CAS Scholarship (would I lose that if I switched?), while for Emory I got no scholarship money just loans and GW I got like 20K. What would you do?

Please someone give advice opinion anything. Even just some parameters that I should be aware of when deciding.

transferring from CAS to Stern at NYU is based on spots that open up at Stern, not necessarily your academic merit…If you are picking between these NYU, Emory, and GW, I would suggest that you just think of NYU as 4 years of CAS, not CAS/Stern.

CAS econ is also ranked very highly, top 10 I believe. There are tons of CAS econ students who are successful. A lot of the ones I have met are also extremely talented but decided to apply to CAS econ because they were afraid they wouldn’t get into Stern. My friends in CAS don’t seem to have any troubles finding internships either. I would definitely go with CAS over Emory or GWU.
