I thought Oxford is good…can anyone please provide details about this housing?

Oxford has really big rooms and apparently the quads are pretty nice. The only problem is that it’s so far away from everything. It’s so far away that it even has its own bus, lol. I heard that Oxford has its own little community there.

Google oxford housing on CC, there are a bunch of posts.

I almost moved to Oxford last year by choice. I liked it. It is a little far but it’s really not too bad. “Far” is a relative term here. Yes, compared to West Quad which is across the street from many classes, it is far. But otherwise it’s not that bad.

Distance is, like everyone else said before, far. But I heard the rooms are spacious which is definitely a plus. But from what i know, Oxford is close to all the Frats and Soroities, i am assuming, not exactly sure, but it could get noisy and irritating, unless you prefer the parties.

If anyone in Oxford is willing to switch into a double in Bursley, which I hear has bigger rooms, the best food, and a great atmosphere, please let me know!! I will pay a lot of money to switch rooms

bunbun-- east quad is right across the street from some frats too, and I believe south and west quad are right by some, too. Yes, it’s loud, but pretty inescapable. I didn’t even hear them usually unless it was the night before (or the morning of) a football game, or another big party day like st patricks or something,
