Thank you, Salsa! Congratulations on being called to interview! What do you want to study there? Where did you apply?

Hi, I was wondering whether or not anybody here knows where I can find information on applying to England from Canada? Thanks!

There's a section for North America on the undergraduate part of their site, though it applies mainly to the US. You should call the admissions office about it.

I actually know some people who applied from Canada. The apps the same as the US one, and there are interviews in Vancouver, B.C. This is for next year, though, right? Because the deadlines for this year have already passed...

I applied to Balliol to read Art...wat about you franklinbrown, wat subject are u applyin for

I applied to Magdalen for English

It's okay; they're more interested in scores/predicted scores than grades in class.

What are "scores/predicted scores?"
What is this about the lack of a need to send in high school transcripts? Are you guys lying or high?
LOL, I really need to know about this.

.

.

Anyway, what happened guys? It's October 2005 and I want to know if you guys got in.

you have to send in AP scores & SAT scores; no, they really don't ask for your high-school transcript. if you haven't taken the SAT by the time you apply, you're in trouble, although they may take the PSAT as a predicted SAT score & (if they like you) grant you a conditional offer. but yeah. personal statement for oxford is also VERY different from US college essays.

in any case, getting into oxford is ridiculously difficult. when i applied two years ago, I had to go to Canada for an interview, then had to do another interview over the phone... man. i did get in in the end, but talk about stressful...

How long does it take UCAS to process applications and in the case of Oxford, assign you to colleges?

It says it takes less than 24 hours but I submitted my app three days ago. Was it because I sent it on a Saturday?
