applied on-line just before deadline, but school documents sent by snail mail. Tracking them shows HMC received mail before deadline, but common app doesn't have them checked off as having been received.

What to do: Relax. commonapp.org doesn’t track offline paperwork submissions. commonapp.org will never show the documents as “received,” even after she receives her admission decision. That’s ok. If you have the postal receipts, the wonderful Admission Office folks at Mudd have your daughter’s documents. And if anything is missing from her file, they’ll let her know by email in a couple of weeks.

So yeah, just relax and wait, as much as you can relax while waiting. Good luck to your daughter! Glad to see she’s applying to Mudd. :)

I agree with geek mom. Not to worry. Some of my son’s paperwork (including transcripts) decided to wander away. The Mudd Admission folks were great. His school just sent it again. No issue.

Collegeboard didn’t send my scores to HMC and a couple of other colleges. Found out about it after deadline and had to send the scores with rush shipping. Screw collegeboard. I always hated it. =p
