Parent getting GTown-related emails?

<p>Hey all - my dad's started to get Georgetown-related emails in the past week or so (M-street maintenance, construction, that sort of thing). I put his email on my application but I myself haven't received any of these emails. I know I'm probably grasping at straws but I don't want to freak myself out unnecessarily - have any other parents been getting these? What could they mean? He hasn't signed up for any emails from the school himself, the only way they could have gotten his email is through my application.</p>

<p>Thoughts? These next three weeks could not go any slower...maybe I'm just looking for positive signs everywhere!</p>

<p>I applied EA and started getting the same emails about a week before decisions came out. I posted a thread on here and the only other person who was getting them was a girl who went to a summer program (as did I). I figured that was the reason we were getting them, but it also turned out that we were both accepted…so who knows what the real reason was. Please don’t put too much emphasis on the emails, but I would agree with tribegirl in saying that they’re not a bad thing. Good luck!</p>
