<p>I'm a transfering junior and have been told that parking is quite an adventure near campus. I see that IU has quite a few parking garages. Where are some reliabe places to park near campus? Do the garages usually have open spots? I'm primarily going to take the bus but I may need to drive some days so any info would be helpfulll. </p>

<p>Get the “E” permit, which is the cheapest one, and park in the massive stadium lots on the north side of 17th Street by the football stadium and Assembly Hall. Then take a free campus “A” bus to the middle and southern parts of campus. Be careful not to park just anywhere there after 4:00 pm on days when IU has home basketball games or you might get ticketed/towed. You can only park in certain lots (mostly west of the football stadium) after 4:00 on basketball home game days.</p>
