part 1 application question

I'm freaked out cause these are already submittable and they ask for major! Can I change this later in the process? I'm not sure if I want to apply to the business school or not.

I'm pretty sure you can change it on part II. If you want, you can put undecided instead and change it later.

Don't worry about it. My son was admitted without submitting Part I, but if you want to save a few bucks and get on USC's radar, go ahead and submit it based on what you know now.

USC does not have EA/ED, so getting on their radar early may be beneficial, though no one who posts here knows for sure. My sense is that they pay attention to "demonstrated interest", and submitting Part I in July is certainly doing that. Even if you can't change it on Part II, you can always call the admissions office in November and ask them to change it for you.

^^^
That's what my counselor told me. You just demonstrate your interest. I kind of had a question similar to yours because I am going to retake the ACT but she said to just put down what you know for now. I think the admissions office knows that this information is just tentative for now because its not the formal application. :)

It shouldn't be a problem. I had put one major down for part 1, changed to undecided on the actual application, and I got in.

You can definitely change your major, I know I did! Just pay attention when you submit part 2, because some require an additional submission (from a simple letter of intent to a whole different application).
