Part time final quarter as a senior?

My daughter is a senior and will be graduating this June (yeah!). She has done her first pass and has registered for the final class for her major and one additional class. She can now register for 2nd pass but all the classes she was interested in are full. She has an internship M/W/F so can only take classes T/TH. What are the details of only having 8-10 units your final quarter. If you have 180 units, all major stuff is done is that ok? Can you pay per unit instead of full tuition? This is what we are hoping. She would rather not take a class she isn't interested in that she doesn't need. Thanks!

She’s eligible for 50% off tuition costs if enrolled in 10 or fewer units. Submit a petition to the school’s (i.e. L&S, Engineering, etc.) main office before the end of 2nd week of Spring quarter.
