Is Michigan considered a party school? How does this compare to Vandy or NU?

I'd say that Vanderbilt is the biggest party school of the three you mentioned.

Is Michigan very clilque?

Michigan is not at all cliquish and it is not a "party school". Michigan students are generally open to making new friends and their first priority generally is their studies. However, you obviously have cliques (all universities do) and if you want to find a party on campus any night of the week...you probably can. That's the advantage of being in a university with over 20,000 undergraduate students.

An interesting fact I learned at orientation: 61% of students at Umich say that they have only 1-4 drinks in a party. (I think those were the numbers, but I don't know for sure, just 99% sure.)

Yes that is correct-and all around campus you will see this statistic posted. Whether it is true-that is another matter...

But how many parties can you hit in one night??

Just a quick question: Are people pressured to party, or is it a matter of choice? I'm not really a party person. I love to have fun, but I don't drink.

No one pressures anyone to drink-college is not like high school. In fact, if you don't drink, you will have more fun because you will not spend all your time at a party standing around a keg! No but either way, it's good.

I don't drink...never have. You will never be pressured to drink, and Michigan's social life does not necessarily revolve around alcohol. Ann Arbor has many venues for fun and parties are just one of the many students use to gather and have fun.
