<p>for the best-looking writing (my handwriting is semi-script), go for pencil. For smudge-free worries, go for pen.</p>

<p>A lefty I know only writes in pen. Except for in math, and half the time she’s forgets a pencil so it’s in pen anyway. But uni-ball ones dry extremely fast. :')</p>

<p>I knew a kid who did all his math homework in pen. It drove me crazy until I realized he never made a mistake - hence no need to erase.</p>
<p>Since I’m not that awesome, I’m usually stuck with mechanical pencils (0.5mm). I break them often.</p>

<p>why so complicated? Any pencile should do for me, as long as its not a clicky one. Just what everybody else uses.</p>

<p>I hate using normal pencils because they wear out and your writing looks inconsistent. Pen is indelible (the erasable variety suck), the ink smudges, and if you make a mistake, you’ve got to either put a gob of wite-out on it or cross it out (not sure which is worse).</p>
